Welcome to Bryn Dwr Pods and B&B
Bryn
Dwr is a traditional family home and Bed and Breakfast
establishment with the added bonus of camping pods for the outdoor
lover. We pride ourselves on being child and dog (well behaved)
friendly and giving our visitors a very warm welcome to our home.
We are conveniently situated in the idyllic and peaceful Welsh countryside, a perfect haven for those wanting a quiet and relaxing break with stunning scenery and surroundings. The area is rich in history and culture and near to many attractions and activities with Snowdonia less than an hour's drive away. The Llandegla Visitor and Mountain Bike Centre is just a couple of miles from Bryn Dwr and for those with cycles we can make available secure storage.
Our aim here at Bryn Dwr is to see you satisfied with a good night's sleep and a good start to the day!
About the Pods
Described as Continental Camping Huts, the Eco friendly pods
offer a warm, secure and natural environment for you to spend your
night. No flapping canvas to keep you awake, or heavy equipment to
carry between your night's base. Ideal for those who wish to travel
light whilst on foot, and at our location, especially if you are
walking the Offa's Dyke National Trail. To provide extra warmth on
cold spring or autumn nights, the pods are insulated with sheep's
wool and there is a special foil within the roof construction to
provide a check on summer temperatures. The pods are constructed
from timber with a specially coated waterproof, noise reducing tile
to the roof. Not dissimilar to an upturned boat the pod can give
children and adults alike, the wonderful experience of a night out under
the stars in warmth, security and comfort. Our pods sleep two adults and two small
children and they are an excellent way to introduce your family to
sleeping out without the associated worries.
So whether you wish to experience something a little different, or prefer not to have to carry a tent on your travels, Bryndwr Pods has something for everyone.
